Kill Dil is an upcoming 2014 romantic action Hindi film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film will feature Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar in the lead roles.[1] This film is going to be Shaad's fourth collaboration with Yash Raj Films.[2] Veteran actor Govinda is going to play a negative role in the film.[3] The film is scheduled to release on 2014.
Right from the commencing of the pre-production, it was announced by Shaad Ali that he was going to feature Ranveer Singh as the male protagonist of his new project.[5] He described Kill Dil as "a film about the tricks the heart plays on an unsuspecting victim of love. Ranveer is pukka for the male lead."[6] There were reports in the beginning that actress Deepika Padukone would be playing the female lead as per the filmmaker's wish.[4] However, it was later officially declared that Parineeti Chopra had signed to do that role. After Shikari, Govinda will be doing the role of the antagonist in this film.[3] Ali Zafar, who is chosen to be cast in a supporting role, will be doing the role of a Pakistani boy.

The last time we saw them, they were romancing each other albeit for a short duration in 'Ladies Vs Ricky Behl'. But their onscreen chemistry worked nevertheless. And now for all the Parineeti Chopra and Ranveer Singh fans, who were waiting to see the couple work together for the second time will see them in the Yash Raj camp once again as they are producing romantic film of director Shaad Ali who has brought Ranbir and Parineeti together for their next Kill Dil movie.
