When Mahesh Bhatt was contacted regarding the same he also said that he has suggested name of Nathalia. “I had only suggested that Nathalia should be casted; the choice is Pooja’s,” said Mahesh Bhatt.
Nathalia is in good books of Bhatts hence she featured in posters of Jism 2. Says Nathalia, “The lead wasn’t finalised then. They decided on Sunny much after we finished the poster shoot at Pooja’s weekend house in Lonavala.”
Nathalia Kaur is known for her recent item number in Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Department’ ‘Dan Dan Cheeni’. When RGV announced that she was his discovery she refuses it. She says that modeling has been her career since she was 14.
“It is not that I have suddenly landed here. Nobody discovered me. I had an amazing chance to be in Ramu’s film and I was lucky to work with Pooja. But I have discovered myself and have availed the opportunities which came along,” she says.
Ram Gopal Varma has dropped her from his next venture citing her marriage news. Ask Nathalia about it and she gets angry. “I can just say that I am not getting married now for sure. And if he has dropped me, one should ask him the question, not me. Even I read of it only in the newspapers. It is RGV’s film. He is directing it and it is up to him to decide who he will cast or not,” an irked Nathalia says.
She adds, “We have signed a contract but we are hardly in touch with each other. Ramu’s busy with his project Bhoot 2. We never said that we would do a film now, tomorrow or in the next 5-10 years.”
Prod her about other projects in her kitty and she says that she has none. “I don’t want to sound like a fool by telling people that I have signed 10 films. At present, I am only reading scripts and it might take some time for me to finalize on projects,” informs Nathalia.

Jism 3 in pipeline, likely to feature Nathalia Kaur
Actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who is elated over the success of her recently released movie Jism 2, has plans to take the franchise ahead with the third and fourth installment.
She is considering having Nathalia Kaur in Jism 3. Ram Gopal Varma launched the Brazilian model-turned-actress in Bollywood with item number Dan Dan in his film Department.
"For Jism 3, we are considering Nathalia as my father (Mahesh Bhatt) suggested me to do so. He has a knack of choosing the right kind of new talent. We are thinking of her but nothing is finalised yet," Pooja told PTI.
"The third part will have four main players it could be two heroes, two heroines or three heroes and one heroine. We haven't thought of the exact number of actors and actresses yet. We might repeat one of the male actors from Jism 2," she said.
The third part will go on floors from April and is likely to release during winter 2013. But the makers are not just stopping at Jism 3, they intend to take it forward and have a fourth part as well in the series.
"Then we would go ahead with Jism 4 in 2014. It is just a coincidence that the year, ending with 3 (2013) will have Jism 3 and 4 (2014) will have Jism 4. I don't know how far we will take the Jism franchise. I have not planned it yet," Pooja said.
Jism 2 is a sequel to the 2003 release of the same name, which starred Bipasha Basu and John Abraham in the lead.
"I was anxious. The film had no big star cast, we did not have Salman Khan in the film but it did quite well at the box office. I was taking a bigger risk by having Sunny in my film putting her in front of a conservative crowd here.
"People thought with Sunny in the film, they will get to see more of sexual and sensual content but that was a myth," Pooja said.
The erotic thriller, featuring Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh was made on a budget of Rs.6-7 crore and has collected Rs.21 crore its opening weekend.
"The film has earned Rs.21 crore, I think we have got a great opening. Generally filmmakers do not release their movies during Ramzan as not many people go to watch it. But this film has done well especially in places like UP, Bhopal, Punjab and others. It worked for us," she said.
